Autism Awareness Month Interview
In observance of Autism Acceptance Month (April), Reach Out and Read (ROR), a US national non-profit organization supporting early literacy, organized an interview with me and Dr. Beth Grady discussing our clinical insight, lived experience, and cultural context, with particular attention to autism acceptance, delayed diagnosis, stigma, and health equity in Black and Brown communities.

Puzzles Conference Scholarships for Residents and Medical Students!
Our 10th Annual Pediatric Puzzles CME Conference at the San Francisco Zoo is back this Spring! Pediatricians, family practitioners, nurse practitioners, and physicians-in-training are invited to receive the latest updates on Autism, Adolescent Medicine, Artificial Intelligence, GLP-1 Therapies, Relational Health, and Advocacy through engaging lectures, Q&As, and dedicated time for connection with colleagues. Participants are tentatively eligible for 4.5 hours of CME credits. This year’s event is in-person-only at San Francisco Zoo, making it a great opportunity for a family trip!

Training Program: Early Autism Diagnosis by the Pediatrician
AAP-CA1 is offering a specially designed Early Autism Diagnosis by the Pediatrician training program.
The program will be held in person in
Lafayette, CA,
on Saturday, April 25, 2026,
from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM,
with two one-hour virtual learning collaborative sessions in May and June.
